When it comes to PHARMACARE, HEALTH CARE REFORM, IMPROVED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES & POVERTY REDUCTION, I like to quote Edward Kennedy: "The Work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dream shall never die."

the new snow bylaw did not address the dangerous problem created by snow equipment when streets and highways are cleared. There is a 2 foot high windrow left behind the grader when city and highways crews are clearing streets. The highways crew may load the windrow in some occasions but the city equipment leaves the windrow. In either situation, larger vehicles plow through the snow, then medium size, followed by small cars.In many cases, there is major damage to vehicles, which the city takes no responsibility for. There is also a obvious safety issue when a vehicle takes a run at the pile of snow. The city's position on this is that you are not supposed to drive through the windrow of snow. There are many reasonable solutions to this problem.
