The MacGregor Fire Department is the recipient of a new Emergency Rescue Vehicle made possible by the Town of MacGregor, the Rural Municipality of North Norfolk and Agrium.
Garry Miller, superintendent, Manitoba Distribution, Agrium Bloom Terminal, presented fire chief Chris Leckie of the MacGregor Fire Department, with a $2,500 donation from Agrium's Local Community Investment Program.
The Local Community Investment Program supports charities and initiatives in the communities in which they operate and is specifically targeted to meet the unique needs of each community.
On hand for the presentation were Val Unrau, the chief administration officer for the Town of MacGregor and RM of North Norfolk, and MacGregor deputy mayor Barrie MacDonald.
